getting moving...

I've been counting down the last couple weeks till I move with a lot of last minute errands and running around. I had yet to pack at all, up until recently when I suddenly panicked, realizing I had to get started as soon as possible. It's amazing how much stuff one accumulates in such a small space, but I love clearing out all the unnecessary clutter and items I can give away. Feels good.

Miley of course if super helpful with her thorough quality check of each box. She knows something's up.

P.S. I finally had time to shoot some film, and can't wait to get it developed to share here! After a little stint of shots from my digital camera I realized I truly do love film more, and will be doing a little thinking into what I want to shoot next.

  2. Oh gosh, I just moved in May (at eight months pregnant) and I cringe at the thought of packing and unpacking!

    Good luck with everything!
I still have my magazines all packed away and am seriously considering ditching them just because I don't want to deal with them ;)

    1. Wow! That's quite the feat moving at 8 months pregnant! I'm feeling the same way about my magazines, I scraped a lot. Kept the Martha Stewart Livings and Weddings, lol...

Hope you're settling into you new place ok!

  3. You're back! I was wondering where you were... and you're moving! Yay! I'm moving too, to Scotland, soon! :)
I have a LOT of stuff, obviously which I won't be able to take. But I'm a hoarder, and it tears my heart to leave things behind :(
I also have a habit of attributing life to inanimate objects. And THAT does NOT help when I'm moving!

    1. Aw thanks, I needed a little blogger break, get inspired again! You're moving Scotland?! That's awesome! I have a whole bunch of family in Glasgow and Paisley.

Good luck with all the packing! Try to clear out what you can, think of the stuff you haven't touched in months, then you probably don't really need it.

    2. Point taken!
I'm moving to Edinburgh, but the boy is moving to Glasgow, so I'll be there often enough :)

Good luck, can't wait to see pics of your new place!

  4. Have fun setting up your new place! I completely agree; it is unbelievable how much stuff can be accumulated in a small apartment! Doesn't it feel great to get rid of the extras?
